<p>Strong Leicester have taken Reformer up up a level, with added cardio and weights thrown in. The machines here have either a rowing machine (rowformer) or a static bike attached to them, to add that little bit of extra oomph to your workout. Meaning you get cardio on top of your core strength workout. Ouchy! Yes, it’s hardcore, but boy does it make for a very decent total body workout. There are sleek changing facilities too, with (praise be!) hair dryers and straighteners and large, lockable shower cubicles, plus a whole wall of free to use lockers to store all your gear whilst you’re reforming. Oh, and women only classes on offer too. </p>

<p>The First on-demand luxury Reformer Pilates studio in Northampton, we were lucky enough to test drive this stylish space when it opened in October 2025 and we were not disappointed. Studio Seventeen is tucked away in a slightly unexpected industrial estate at the edge of town, but finding it is like unwrapping a jewel. Owner Jess Moriarty has thought of everything and created a welcoming and practical space that works for everyone &#8211; it&#8217;s especially great is you&#8217;re pushed for time, as it gives a huge amount of flexibility with touch screen, on-demand, sessions, as well as instructor led classes, all bookable via the Mind Body app. Extra points for the fabulous No. 68 Coffee House downstairs for your post Pilates acai bowl. </p>

<p>Reformer classes here get booked up early. There are just five reformers, so you&#8217;ve got to get in quick, but it&#8217;s worth planning ahead to get a spot in this stunningly spacious, vaulted warehouse studio at Weedon Depot and, because you are in such a small group, you will definitely get a good workout. If you&#8217;re shy, you can even arrange private group or one to one sessions. </p>

<p>Chloe scooped the 2025 Muddy Award for Yoga/Pilates Studio, and it&#8217;s easy to see why &#8211; her practice, based in a beautiful converted chapel with stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings, is all about care and personal attention to her students. You&#8217;re in safe hands too, Chloe previously worked as a massage therapist for eighteen years, as well as having trained in acupuncture.
