You and your beloved can cosy up by the roaring fire beneath a spectacular Anouska Hempel light installation, indulge in Hemingway Daiquiris, caviar carpaccio with truffle fries, and share a cheeky banana split. </p>

<p>We reckon this might be just the spot for Lewis Hamilton to woo Kim K on Valentine&#8217;s Day this year &#8211; overlooking Silverstone Circuit, Escapade sits between the greenery of a quiet woodland and the bone-shaking roar of some of the world’s fastest engines. It’s a pretty exciting place to find yourself, and the interiors have been styled to perfection, with cosy banquettes, intimate tables for two and a relaxed lounge area next to the bar.&nbsp;You can even retire to one of the on-site private Residences. </p>

<p>Proud proprietor of the UK’s longest-retained Michelin Star – they’ve held one since 1982 and we reckon that’s quite an impressive achievement, so fingers crossed for this year&#8217;s announcements &#8211;  and with an idyllic setting on the shore of Rutland Water, Hambleton Hall is all traditional interiors with elevated, modern British fare that makes the perfect spot for a romantic <em>soirée a deux</em>. </p>

<p>Tables are not easy to book for this much sought after farm to fork restaurant in the Vale of Belvoir, but perhaps you could delay your pleasure &#8211; it&#8217;s well worth it.  They nabbed themselves a coveted Michelin Green Star in 2025, thanks to their sustainable ethos and there&#8217;s a surprise tasting menu format, which means you have to be open to trying pretty much anything and everything. Mysterious and alluring. </p>

<p>Set within one of the most elegant boutique hotels and dining destinations in the region, Milly’s Bistro at The William Cecil lies within The Burghley Estate, a landmark feature in the historic market town of Stamford. So far, so Mr Darcy. And dishes all come with recommended wine pairings, so you can sail through dinner without worrying about whether you&#8217;re getting it right. You can just focus on getting smoochy. </p>

<p>John&#8217;s House is a farm-to-plate restaurant boasting a coveted Michelin Star and serving seasonal&nbsp;produce, much of which is from the family&nbsp;farm and local producers.&nbsp;Start the evening with drinks on the ground floor then head upstairs to the rustic restaurant for the main event &#8211; a five or seven course tasting menu. Think Bradgate fallow deer with red cabbage, cavolo nero and walnut wine or Stonehurst hogget hen of the woods, turnips and gremolata. If you can snag a table here, we reckon you&#8217;ll be in the good books for quite some time. </p>

<p>Serving up small plates cooked on an open fire as you sit on high stools at the bar, Ember’s creative (and apparently heat-proof) chefs conjure up their magic right in front of your eyes, but if dining&nbsp;<em>tête-a-tête</em>&nbsp;is a bit more your style there are cosy tables too. Fire roasted padron peppers with a chilli lime mayo, monkfish with embered leeks, barbecued hispi cabbage and smoked pineapple trifle? Don’t mind if we do.</p>
