<p>The fabulous <a href="https://www.bebodyfresh.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Be Body Fresh</a> offers Pilates, fitness classes, personal training sessions as well as self-care retreat days, myofascial cupping therapy and sports massage, whilst <a href="https://www.southstloft.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Loft</a> wellbeing hub at Rutland Nursery runs yoga, pilates and meditation sessions. There&#8217;s also a GP in town, along with several dental practices. </p>

<p>Each year the town hosts a number of brilliant community events including the Stilton Cheese Run (which involves cars not cheese) as well as the Uppingham Feast Day, featuring shopping, entertainment and live&nbsp;music in the town&#8217;s market place. Every winter Rutland farmers get together to proudly show off the best of their stock to encourage people to buy and support local during the annual Fatstock Show.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.uppingham.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Uppingham School</a> (co-ed, 13 – 18 yrs) is just off the market square. Founded in 1584, it&#8217;s a full boarding school that has a brilliant reputation.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s 97 miles to London and to drive it would take over two hours. Oakham station is a 15 min drive, from there you can set a season ticket for just under £9,000 and it takes one hour 48 mins by train.</p>
