<p>It&#8217;s a triple whammy on the new spa front, with not one but three snazzy destinations warming up their essential oils to welcome new guests. First up, rumour has it that <a href="https://www.escapadeliving.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Escapade Silverstone</a> is <em>finally</em> set to open its sleek new doors this July. Guests can expect a luxurious new spa with an indoor trackside swimming pool and sauna as well as a state of the art gym, restaurant and bar with roof terrace overlooking the races. </p>



<p>Muddy Award Winning hotel <a href="https://barnsdalerutland.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Barnsdale </a>in Rutland will also open its brand new Signet Spa this July, an outdoor spa featuring a heated pool, wood-fired hot tubs, sauna and treatments from GAIA skincare. Available to be booked from 9 July &#8211; set your reminders now. </p>



<p>And in even <em>more</em> exciting spa news, <a href="https://rutlandhall.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rutland Hall Hotel</a> has just announced its got <em>two</em> new spa experiences set to launch in the coming months. First up, Four Roots will be a four hour wellness experience with a carefully curated itinerary that includes a bathing ceremony, personalised treatment, meditation and salt room and a nutritious two course meal or afternoon tea. We&#8217;ve also heard that work is underway on a luxurious new day spa set to open in the grounds of Rutland Hall and with a dining terrace overlooking Rutland Water. We reckon those are going to be some pretty blissful views. </p>

<p>Attention wine and cheese-lovers: <a href="https://www.stonyfieldwine.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Stonyfield Wine</a> in Blisworth will be open for scrumptious platters on Sundays in July and August from 11am-4pm, with no booking required. Just show up and tuck in to the good stuff. The only exception will be on 14 July, when there is a special Talk and Taste Day with the brilliant Mark from <a href="https://www.cheeseontowcest.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cheese on Towcest</a>, who will be pairing some of his cheeses with Stonyfield&#8217;s own wines &#8211; you&#8217;ll need to book for this one and it&#8217;s likely to sell out quickly. </p>



<p>New cocktail bar alert! We could not be happier to have the brilliant folks from <a href="https://www.instagram.com/muddledlimegroup/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Muddled Lime</a> open a brand new cocktail bar at Wharf Distillery in Towcester earlier this month, to run alongside their popular (and Muddy Award Winning) bar at <a href="https://www.thepopupplace.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Pop Up Place</a> in Long Buckby. Grab your gang and head over for their amazing cocktails and mocktails. Owners Jay and Chloe are certainly a busy pair, having just taken the keys for <em>three</em> new venues in Derbyshire too. Next stop: world domination. We&#8217;re also pretty chuffed to see the old White Hart pub in Far Cotton get a new lease of life as <a href="https://cartelnorthampton.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cartel Brasserie and Grill</a>. The former Phipps pub is such a beautiful building and it was always sad to see it looking empty and forlorn.  Good luck to the new owners!</p>



<p>We had a chat to the team at Muddy Award Winning café <a href="https://www.forgecoffee.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forge Coffee</a> last week, who have spilled the coffee beans on the imminent opening of their third venue (they currently have cafés in Culworth and Evenley) in Whittlebury. Can&#8217;t wait to head over for more of the finest coffee and cakes in Northamptonshire. </p>

<p>We are loving the brand new <a href="https://www.engineyardbelvoir.com/the-belvoir-farmshop/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Farm Shop</a> at the Engine Yard at Belvoir Castle. It&#8217;s open 7 days a week and sells, well, gorgeous things from nearby farms and artisan producers including cheeses, freshly baked bread, homegrown honey and handcrafted preserves. There&#8217;s also a deli counter offering cured meats and antipasti and a butchery where you&#8217;ll find premium cuts of meat sourced directly from the Belvoir estate and a commitment to sustainability and ethical farming practices</p>

It&#8217;s their only UK store outside of the concessions at Harrods and Selfridges</p>

<p>Event season is in swing and we&#8217;ve had a few celeb sightings recently, including HRH Liz Hurley (what a fab dress!) at the opening night of The Magic Flute at <a href="https://nevillholtfestival.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nevill Holt Festival</a>, with Number 1 Muddy Girl crush Kristin Scott Thomas also spotted in attendance. The festival closes on Wednesday 26 June, so there&#8217;s still time to catch some culture if your hurry. Oh and some guy called Brad Pitt has been speeding around the track at Silverstone, apparently filming scenes from his latest movie. You might remember we wrote about <em>Apex </em>being shot last year during the GP, but it&#8217;s faced lengthy delays wrapping because of the knock-on effects of the SAG-AFTRA strikes in the US last year. We don&#8217;t mind a bit of a wait if it means Brad&#8217;s back in town. Got your tickets for the Grand Prix yet? </p>
