<p>Celebrate music, nature and dance at this electronic music festival bringing together house, techno, and drum &amp; bass in an immersive forest setting. We absolutely love the organisers of Forbidden Forest for refusing to give to passes an unnamed streamer (featured in the recent Louis Theroux documentary <em>Inside the Manosphere</em>) and asking him not to attend the festival in order to keep it a safe and welcoming space. For this alone we are giving Forbidden Forest our &#8216;Festival of the Year&#8217; crown. </p>

<p>With over 150 artists and musicians taking part in Nevill Holt, with it&#8217;s award-winning theatre, medieval chapel and the beautifully landscaped grounds, this celebrated arts and music festival is less portaloos and dirty wellies, more posh frocks and dickie bows, so make the most of it, play dress-up and make-believe you’re the Lady of the Manor to take in opera, jazz, classical music and talks from the likes of Dame Zandra Rhodes, Dame Anya Hindmarch and David Olusoga. </p>

<p>This jubilant yet intimate one-day festival, with the likes of Beans on Toast and High Contrast set to grace the stage, is a glorious celebration of music and performance that&#8217;s independent and intimate. This one&#8217;s for the hardcore ravers though &#8211; no under 18s allowed. </p>

<p>This mammoth 3-day rock event is the second largest music festival in the UK and is celebrating its 23rd year with Guns N&#8217; Roses, limpbizkit, Linkin Park, Cypress Hill and lots, lots more. Rock on. </p>

<p>Step into a secret world of ancient woodland and lakes with hidden parties, relaxation, comedy, food, revelry, kids entertainment, music and, of course, Hip Hop Karaoke (no festival is complete without it). <p>Head to&nbsp;Silverstone Circuit<strong>&nbsp;</strong>for another full-throttle weekend festival event, the&nbsp;Moto GP. The two-wheeled championship returns for adrenalin pumping bike action at the home of British Motor Racing. Aside from the world’s best riders and the iconic Grand Prix circuit, there’s also a packed weekend of entertainment (music acts tbc &#8211; watch this space) plus top notch street food and late night party vibes.</p>

<p>The original and still the best, Shambala, which takes place in the absolutely gorgeous grounds of Kelmarsh Hall, isn’t big on household name music bookings for its 12 (yep, 12!) stages, but you can catch naughty boys Bob Vylan as well as Goat on the line-up, plus t there’s more cabaret, inspiring talks, yoga, circus acts and comedy than you can shake a stick and you will definitely not get bored, plus it’s very family friendly and you even get a discounted ticket if you arrive on your bike via the Red Fox Cycle Tour. </p>

<p>Get set for the long August Bank Holiday weekend at&nbsp;Greenbelt, a celebration of humanity like no other, where spiritual meets secular and nurtures everything in between, with music, performing arts, literature, comedy, spirituality, workshops and children’s entertainment. <p>Zooming into the smoking tyre tracks of Silverstone Festival this year, CarFest is the UK&#8217;s biggest family fundraising and motorsports festival, with Jessie J, Tom Jones, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Rick Astley, Sugababes and Sophie Ellis Bextor on the bill, as well as talks from the likes of Rob Brydon, Marian Keyes, Patrick Grant and Rangan Chatterjee, plus loads of amazing car events, foodie fun, a fun fair and more. It’s about waaaay more than just the sexy cars it’s famed for (although they’re pretty cool too) and there’s something here to keep everyone very happy.</p>

Me!) then this is the festival for you &#8211; celebrating country, Americana and Roots and set against the stunning backdrop of Stanford Hall,&nbsp;The Long Road&nbsp;boasts six immersive stages inspired by the iconic venues where Country music was born and still thrives today, from rowdy honky-tonks to laid-back front porch sessions, with a line-up including the great Emmylou Harris and Bailey Zimmerman. There&#8217;s also lake dips, intimate songwriters’ rounds, the Cowboy Olympics, dog shows, quizzes, and artist signings, plus you can savour Southern barbecue, sip fine bourbon, and explore classic cars, bikes, and pop-up shops.</p>

<p>Head to Found Festival on the Claydon Estate, near Buckingham, for a bank hol extravaganza of mindfulness, music, workshops and comedy. This friendly festival is all about helping people reconnect, so bring the whole family, from babies to grandparents. Get stuck in and join the choir, pick up a paintbrush or participate in a hands-on art or craft workshops in the heritage village. There is an eclectic musical line-up ranging from Americana, Folk and Country, to Blues, World , and Roots – a bit of something for everyone!</p>
