Yummy Grains, Towcester

Yummy Grains granola is made on a family farm in Foxley, just outside Towcester, and we think you’ll agree it is the most delicious (not to mention healthy) brekky out there.

Rebecca Evans set up her innovative granola brand Yummy Grains on the family farm in Foxley, just outside Towcester, and we think you’ll agree it is the most delicious (not to mention healthy) brekky out there.

Its all about producing scrumptious food that’s naturally healthy, using natural ingredients without the use of artificial things like preservatives. Plus there is zero added sugar, just Northamptonshire honey to give a subtle sweetness. Rebecca also uses locally produced rapeseed oil to add a lovely nutty flavour, British oats, which are naturally filling and a great source of fibre, protein and slow-release energy.

The recipe includes a whopping twenty percent nuts too, which gives you added protein, off course, as well as micro-nutrients and healthy fats, all made and packaged right here on the family farm. And you can also buy bags of British grown oats too – perfect for porridge and flapjacks.

The aim is to produce genuinely healthy breakfast cereals with natural ingredients and no hidden ingredients. Fancy a taste? Grab yourself a bag from the honesty box outside the farm, or head to your local farm shop – you can stock up at Chapel & Co. in Blakesley, Creaton Village Shop, Philippa’s Farm Shop in Bugbrooke, The Dizzy Heifer Farm Shop at Turweston Aerodrome, Stowe Heights Farm Shop in Church Stowe, Elliots Farm Shop, Towbury Court Deli in Towcester and many many more – check out the Facebook page for updates or get your local shop to stock up).
