Nestled in a beautiful Victorian warehouse at Weedon Depot, this super cool (but also hot) yoga studio blends historic charm with sleek, modern wellness. We’re talking characterful sunlit studio space featuring exposed brick, original beams and high ceilings, combined with the nurturing cocoon of transformative hot yoga sessions that invigorate and balance body and soul.

Sounds pretty amazing, and it really is. If you haven’t tried Hotpod (or any kind of hot yoga) already – and you should – here’s the lowdown: a huge inflatable purple pod is heated up to 37 degrees and you all climb inside to get sweaty and bust out some asanas. It’s bliss, take my word for it. Worried about the sweat factor? It’s not easy at first but it can really make getting deep into those postures more achievable and it’s fantastic for the skin too. oh, and don’t worry, there are lovely clean showers to use after class if you need to dash straight back to the office/bar/school run. Plus, it’s easy to stay hydrated as there’s always a fridge stocked with cool drinks, as well as a hot drinks station for the cooler months.

Drawing in over 300 people to its 31 classes a week, we’re putting Hotpod Daventry’s success firmly down to owner Liyen Mathew’s smiley, inclusive and welcoming approach, as well that of the 10 additional instructors who lead classes here. There’s a type of session for everyone from deep, slow Nurturing Flow and Foundation Flow classes, to signature Hotpod Flow, Dynamic Flow (more on the intense side) and Rest & Restore, for when you need to hit the pause button. There are also regular sound bath sessions too, which are always super popular and restorative.
